ESC Volunteer Programme (EN)
The European Solidarity Corps was launched by the European Commission in 2018. The aim of the programme is to mobilise the power of community to respond to current and future challenges for a better future by activities implemented under the auspices of solidarity. The objectives of the European Solidarity Corps include a strong focus on promoting social inclusion, sustainability, digitalisation and active citizenship, and advancing annual goals such as promoting healthy lifestyles and supporting health in 2021.
The projects that can be supported by the programme have an impact on the people involved on several levels: they increase their social engagement and contribute to their personal development. It is an intensive learning process for participants, project promoters and organisations, as well as for the local community.
Activities that can be supported by the programme
The Solidarity Corps is the entry point for the implementation of solidarity activities. It supports the implementation of different types of projects, thus providing a variety of opportunities for both the young people involved and the organisations. Solidarity Corps activities can be diverse not only in terms of themes and objectives, but also in terms of length and geographical scope.
Volunteering
With the support of the Solidarity Corps, organisations or institutions can involve young people aged 18-30 in individual or group volunteering projects. Projects can be on a variety of themes and in more than 50 countries, with an international dimension. Individual volunteering can last from 2 to 12 months and group volunteering from 14 to 59 days.
THE MUNICIPALITY OF ALSÓMOCSOLÁD IS LOOKING FOR YOUNG PEOPLE TO PARTICIPATE IN 2 GROUP VOLUNTEERING PROJECTS IN THE PERIOD 2022-2023.
